One Week!

So I have officially been in Rouen for one week now and I have been loving every minute of it (except for how cold it is!). I woke up this morning to about another inch of snow. I went to the bus stop around 8:15am to meet up with Natalie and Brianna to take the bus to school. I was the first one to get to the stop and saw that the sign said the next bus was coming in 20 minutes. I was a little confused because according to the schedule, the bus was going to be there in 5 minutes. There were about 10 other French people standing around the stop and they started talking to each other and then all left. Of course I had no clue what they were saying so I walked to a different bus stop. I finally realized that the buses were not running this morning because of an inch of snow!!! Crazy! I called Brianna and her French "brother" came to pick us up and drive us to school. We were 5 minutes late and were freaking out until we realized that we were not the last ones in the room at all, rather we were one of the first people there. We quickly realized we are not at IU anymore where people glare at you if you are late, in fact, everyone is late here!

Anyway, today was a long day at school because we had French lessons from 9-5. It was a super long day and we have to do it again tomorrow! The good thing about tomorrow though is that there is a party tomorrow night organized by a group at school and all of the international students are going! I have already met a lot of people from all over the world and am looking forward to meeting more tomorrow night!
